Ripley's northerly boundary is shared with Kincardine, from the shores of Lake Huron eastward along Bruce Rd 6 to Side Rd 25 and then north to Huron Township Concession 12. The boundary runs eastward to the municipal boundary of Kinloss-Culross.
The easterly boundary is shared with the local Walkerton and runs southward along the municipal boundary of Kinloss-Culross to Whitechurch St. and then south to the village of Whitechurch.
Ripley's southerly boundary is shared with Goderich, from the shores of Lake Huron eastward along Belgrave Rd, Huron County Rd 20 to Donnybrook Line/Huron County Rd 22, then north to Amberly Rd/Bruce and Huron County Rd 86, east to the village of Whitechurch at which point it intersects with the easterly boundary shared with Walkerton, as described above.
