London Badgers AAA Program
The WOBA now offers opportunity for its players to try out for the London Badgers 'AAA' program. These teams play a full league schedule and participate in tournaments in Ontario and the US. WOBA, LDBA and the London Badgers have a Memorandum of Understanding whereby WOBA players may try out for the Badgers without a release. Players who are selected for a Badger team will be provided with a release. Players not selected return home to their local.
Listing of fall tryouts (typically in September) and Badger opportunities (ie. Spring Break trip) will be posted on the Badger website as information becomes available.
For more information about the London Badgers contact Mike Lumley 519-619-6792 or visit the Badger website LINK.
LINK--Welcome to the London Badger Tryout Page!
Since the inception of the organization in 1994, the London Badgers have seen many talented, fine young athletes graduate from the program. Every year, our 18U players move on towards their baseball and scholastic dreams by signing with a U.S. College or University. Some have even signed professional contracts or had the chance to play for our Canadian National Team.
On the Alumni page you will see that ther organization is dedicated to the promotion, development and success of their athletes.
"We work hard to develop great athletes on the field and great young men off the field through dedication, desire and respect. It is our hope that our players are positive role models within the Grass Roots baseball of our community."
