Year End Tournaments
Teams will be notified over the next few weeks with their tournament schedules. We ask that families are patient as we are preparing the administrative side for each tournament.
WOBA will have 9 year end tournaments consisting of 20 divisions during the month of August.
WOBA requires teams to have their scores reported 2 weeks prior to their respective year end tournament weekend. The seeding is then calculated on a team's first 12 games. If less than 12 games are reported then a tie is calculated for each unreported game.
Teams are seeded based on winning percentage (W%). Teams tied by W% used Runs For percentage (RF%) to break the tie. The information is then checked over by a second set of eyes and divisions are assigned. The seeding information is then sent to the respective convenors that then begin organizing a schedule.
This process takes several days and we ask families to be patient as we don't have all the answers that they are looking for until coaches submit their scores so that the rest of the process can take place.
