Players and coaches have an exciting opportunity to travel to Cuba in March 2025 (spring break). No Try-outs only by application. No restriction on numbers.
Ideally 2 teams is preferred the first being a 19 & 18u team, the second a 17u & 16u team. Possible 15u players considered but no guarantee pending availability.
This trip would include excellent training sessions and competition with high performance Cuban athletes (teams). It would also include many new cultural experiences and sight seeing in the baseball crazy country.
We would be following in the footsteps of hundreds of Canadian teams including the London Badgers and Oshawa Legionnaires in 2023. The itinerary will be geared to us personally as well as the level of competition. Coaches from both countries can come together to share ideas on training.
Parents and siblings are invited at reduced costs. Can be a family get-away.
Canada Cuba Sports & Cultural Festivals have been operating these ventures for more than 30 years. They will meet with us and guide us all the way.
Because of the amount of planning involved with the Cuban sports Federation and hotels and transportation we are required to maintain a strict timeline. Our first remittance needs to be in by September.
