A two-year project to restructure the operations of Baseball Ontario culminated at the 102nd Baseball Ontario Annual General Meeting with the election of members to the 2020 Board of Management, Rep and Select Councils.
Ed Quinlan takes over as president of Baseball Ontario from David Huctwith who guided the organization for the past five years. Huctwith, now past president also takes on the duties of treasurer.
“We have a vision to continue to grow the sport with the immediate focus on Safe Sport initiatives, member services, female baseball, and strong financial management,” says Quinlan. “The organization is in a good position to reaffirm its commitment to be leaders in the amateur sport community and will work with sports and corporate partners to deliver quality programming for our members”.
A 20 year member of Baseball Ontario, Quinlan says “the councils along with the Board of Management are dedicated to our unified goals, and 2020 promises to be a very successful year for the organization.”
The following will represent the Board of Management, Rep and Select Councils in 2020.
