DeeDee Ridley

Halton Hills Minor Baseball

Dee Dee was a long standing member of the HHMBA family and tirelessly served her community for many years. Most recently she served as Director of Umpires and the Director of Communications and Community Relations. Her passion for her community and the families that live in it showed up each and every day. She always made sure to go the extra mile to make a player feel special and was the league's ambassador with their sponsors. Dee Dee was the glue that held the executive teams together, the driving force behind countless events, tournaments and more. There was never any task she wouldn't jump in to help with, no person she wouldn't lend a hand to and no place she would rather be then a ball diamond on a Summer evening.

Mitch Ball

Baseball Alberta

Mitch was loved and admired by all those who were lucky enough to have met him. An amazing umpire on the field, Mitch was an even better person off it. Mitch was kind, humble, generous, and caring. The kind of guy who would do absolutely anything for you. The impact Mitch made on umpires and other individuals across the country cannot be measured.

As an elite senior international umpire, Mitch defined what it meant to be a program umpire. Mitch’s contributions included umpiring 7 Baseball Canada Championships, Supervising at 3 Baseball Canada Championships, and umpiring at 3 international events.

NCCP Clinic Season Coming to a Close

As we get closer to being able to get on the field, we want to remind you of the certification requirements for 2021.

Baseball Ontario has clinics planned through May 31st. Clinics are subject to minimum registration, and will be moved/cancelled if not enough coaches have registered.

Once May 31st has passed, coaches can sign up on a wait list for the clinic(s) they may still need. Once we have enough coaches to run a particular clinic we will open registration. Local Associations having the need to get multiple coaches certified can contact the Office for further options.

We encourage you to register today for any clinics you may still need, not only for the 2021 season, but for future seasons as well.
