The following guide may be helpful for planning your day
Arrive early.
Check field conditions, diamond and dug out for debris.
Preparation and Lining of Diamonds.
Post 'Zero Tolerance' signage at each diamond/venue.
Post EAP (Emergency Action Plan) for each venue.
Post or have readily available the tournament rules.
Make sure you have all the equipment that you will need; team sign-in sheets, score sheets, line-up cards, pitch count recording and tracking sheets, baseballs, pencils/pens, clipboards and a coin for the coin flip.
Know who the umpires are, where they are umpiring or if they have a game elsewhere.
know whom to contact if the umpires don't arrive.
Ensure all umpires are knowledgeable of the rules.
Have on hand spare set of umpire equipment, brush and indicator.
Post game schedule and results.
Collect tournament fees from teams (recommended upon their arrival and prior to their first game).
Teams are to complete and hand in a team sign-in sheet prior to their first game ONLY. Players arriving later in the tournament shall check in with the Convenor and sign the respective team's sign-in sheet prior to them taking the field.
Umpires sign in (only once) for the tournament on their sign-in sheet.
Provide game score sheet and pitch count sheets for each game.
Provide current pitch count statistics at the beginning of each game.
Obtain completed and signed game score sheet and pitch count sheets immediately after each game.
Maintain game log sheet which is part of a Convenor's responsibility to submit after the completion of the tournament.
Maintain Pitch Count Tracking log sheet for each team.
Post Pitch Count Tracking log sheet or have readily available for coaches to view.
Ensure that injured players/parents of injured players, umpires or coaches are informed that injuries are to be reported to OBA within 30 days.

Ensure that all
Umpire Ejection reports
are timely submitted online via
WOBA website
and advise WOBA UIC and VP of all ejections.
Deal with protests and circumstantial issues as they arise.

NOTE**
Serious issues should be notified immediately during the tournament. Call 911 if necessary.

Ensure that teams know when and where their next game is, especially in the event that the schedule is changed.
Pay Umpires.
Hand out medallions and banner.
